About Us

Social Justice Fellowship Program

Our Social Justice Fellowship Program is designed to share knowledge about the impacts of uranium mining between our leaders, and indigenous led environmental organization to our SJ Fellows.

Our 2019 augural group of SJ Fellows are for young indigenous womxn that are affected by the impacts of Uranium Mining on the Navajo Nation.

Our fellows have gone through a series of workshops and discussions with indigenous professionals and leaders about the importance of policy change, community organizing, health and environmental impacts of uranium.

Currently our SJ Fellows are organizing, planning, and facilitating their own Community Education Forum: Impacts of Uranium Mining.

Please be on the look out for a SJ Fellow led event in Window Rock, Shiprock, and Twin Lakes in 2020.

We are currently seeking financial donations or goods and services for our upcoming forums. Your donation will help with food, gifts for presenters, venue fees, and incentives for participants at our events.
